ICAEW is a Designated Professional Body (DPB) under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
Examples of the matters we are able to address can include:
- Advice that is connected to tax, accounting, corporate finance or estate planning work.
- Arranging certain investments in limited circumstances.
- Referring clients to appropriately authorised financial advisers as part of our wider professional service.
In relation to the latter, we may, where the circumstances are appropriate, refer you to Hebblethwaite Financial Services. The latter is a brand name with the investment services being provided by a third party FCA authorised and compliant entity, which entity will undertake all of the regulated compliance matters and will put in place its’ own remuneration arrangements in relation to such matters. A number of the partners of Hebblethwaites have an interest in Hebblethwaite Financial Services Ltd.
